I am interested in the narrative possibilities of home made objects and the way that pattern can play a role in that function. I believe decorative objects are an important tool for communicating how we as a society believe things should be organized and celebrated. I'm always surprised and intrigued with the way everyday life can coincide with the deep and mysterious parts of life.

I received a BFA in studio art from the Museum School in Boston and an MA in Textile Futures from Central St Martins in London. My teaching practice is rooted in liberatory education and I teach illustration at the University of Gloucestershire. Previously I taught at MICA in Baltimore and Parsons & FIT in NYC. My work has been recognised by American Illustration and the Society of Publication Designers, and in profiles in Cool Hunting, Design Milk, and Dwell magazine. I have been in residence at John Hopkins Extreme Materials Institute (2018) and Winterthur Museum and Garden (2020) and have public murals in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and the UK.
