Chloë Tibbatts

Biography

Chloë Tibbatts’ work explores the intersection between nature, therapeutic processes, and photographic expression through a multidisciplinary approach. Over the next year Chloë will be completing a master’s in photography at UWE, developing an understanding of folklore and storytelling, notions of home, and our biophilic tendencies. She will be navigating a personal journey while exploring how creative processes rooted in gardening and photography offer a chance to confront life's ephemeral nature.

The materiality of photography is central to her practise and over the next year she will be exploring making her own plant-based developers from her garden and incorporating other alternative darkroom and analogue processes to minimise her environmental impact and to foster a deeper, tangible connection with her artwork.
